Pomace Dryer Introduction
Fruit pomace is the residue left after fruit processing factories. Pomace has a high moisture content and is rich in crude protein, vitamins, and trace elements. After drying, fruit pomace can be used not only as feed for livestock farming but also as fertilizer for mushroom cultivation.
Our company has developed dedicated drying equipment based on the characteristics of fruit pomace. Our pomace dryers adopt a high-temperature crushing device and hot air heat transfer to reduce the moisture content of fresh fruit pomace (around 80%) to below 12%. single dryer line can process 20-150 tons per day and is suitable for high-sugar, viscous materials such as apple pomace, sugarcane bagasse, grape pomace, and olive pomace, etc.

The fruit pomace drying system consists of a heat source, a belt conveyor, a drum device, a discharger, a dust removal device, a belt discharger, an induced draft fan, and electrical controls.
Its core technologies include a double-layer lifting plate structure, a continuously variable transmission system, and an anti-sticking design. It solves the material adhesion problem through a high-speed dispersing device and a countercurrent drying process. It adopts a self-aligning support roller and a lifting plate system to improve the thermal efficiency to over 90%. After drying, it can be connected to subsequent processes such as crushing and granulation to offer a one-stop solution for our customer

Pomace dryer can use various heat sources, such as hand-fired hot air stove, oil-fired boiler in large power plant, direct or indirect hot air stove, gas, fuel oil, coal-fired stove, etc. It is convenient for users to choose according to their actual situation.
