Single Drum Rotary Introduction
The rotary drum dryer is a highly efficient industrial drying equipment for bulk solids. The design of the rotary drum dryer is customized according to the characteristics of the raw materials. The residence time, length and diameter, and airflow configuration (cocurrent or countercurrent) are all specially designed according to the characteristics of the raw materials. It is widely used in various industries such as chemical, metallurgical, construction, food, and grain, for efficient drying of particles, pellets, and powder materials.
Working Principle
The rotary dryer adopts downstream heating method. Therefore, the materials that need to be dried enter the cylinder from the feeding box and are pushed back by the lifting plate. Since the dryer is placed tilted, the material flows towards the lower end under the action of gravity and rotation. The material is repeatedly picked up by the lifting board, carried to the top end and then continuously spread down, forming a uniform curtain inside the cylinder, fully exchanging heat with the hot air inside the cylinder. As the material is repeatedly spread, the moisture contained is gradually dried, thus achieving the purpose of drying.
